Mary's personal journey started her in search of holistic approaches to well being. "Many years ago when I went through what society calls "the change of life," I consulted my physician for assistance. I was tired and lethargic almost all of the time and my menstrual cycle was irregular. My physician put me on birth control pills to regulate my cycle. I had adverse reactions to several different kinds of medication. A hysterectomy was recommended. I decided there had to be a better way.
